Sutton Coating Ser vices Inc. contracts to prepare surfaces and apply specified coatings for corrosion protection, heat resistance, cosmetic appeal, safety color coding, sealing, linings, and other needs.
The Sutton Coating blasting and painting facility at 7700 Wright Road in Houston offers area-wide service with excellent shipping access. Located near the 290 Northwest Freeway, the ten-acre facility has heavy equipment for material handling up to and including 100,000 pounds, a covered blasting and painting area measuring 13,600 sq. ft. and a 6,000 sq. ft. enclosed painting area.
Our facility provides the capability for large area blasting with an array of grits for cleaning abrading, and polishing steel and other surfaces. Through special projects arrangement, other chemical and hydro surface preparation techniques are available, along with surface preparation and coatings for items requiring special handling.
Sutton Coating provides surface preparation and coating services for many industrial customers, including the petrochemical, utilities, agribusiness, marine, and scientific industries. The surface preparation and coating offer protection from corrosion, and deterioration from chemicals, atmosphere, soil, water, temperature extremes, and sunlight. Other uses have been engineered such as shielding and electromagnetic applications.
We contract with industrial corporations, engineers, builders and constructors and fabricators to assist them with sandblasting, painting, and lining requirements. We apply industrial air-dried coatings and linings to almost any surface, including concrete, masonry, and steel using client specs, including 1 coat, 2 coat and 3 coat systems, as well as flow coating application. Further, we also provide MIG/MAG testing when required by our customers.
We use standard coatings and specially designed systems from national manufacturers. Inorganic zinc, epoxies, acrylics, urethanes, and zinc-rich epoxies can be applied for standard industrial use. Other traditional and combination coatings can be applied as requested by our customers. The coating systems may be simple or compound layered processes that offer a wide variety of uses for both interior and exterior surfaces.
